Ashish Bhole

I am a Ramanujan Fellow (visiting faculty) at Department of Aerospace Engineering , IIST Thiruvananthapuram , India. I am leading Computational Plasma and Fluid Dynamics (CPFD) group here. My official page is located here.

My research group develops efficient computational methods and parallel algorithms for the partial differential equations (PDEs) governing fluid dynamics and plasma physics. The work is interdisciplinary by construction: the same mathematical structures recur across plasma physics, high-speed aerodynamics, so a solver designed for one regime often carries over to the others. My aim is to make these solutions both provably accurate and fast enough to be useful at realistic scales.
